AB Mikroelektronik
As a hybrid circuit competence centre, AB Mikroelektronik focuses
on developing and manufacturing custom specific electronic modules
on high temperature resistant ceramic substrates. Our products
provide high functional and power density. The services offered
range from layout design, prototype build and pre-series production
to series or large volume manufacturing.
We are committed to investing in
developing our motivated and conscientious employees, in our highly
automated production facilities and in the latest thickfilm technologies.
Currently, our Salzburg location
counts ca. 160 employees (Jan 2003).

Apprentice training programmes
It's important to have a solid foundation
for the professional life. Based on your skills, inclinations
or study focus, we will help you to gather experience in preparation
for a commercial or a technical profession. We offer an environment
to grow in knowledge, ability and confidence.
Commercial apprenticeship
During the 3 year programme, commercial apprentices will acquire
practical experience by direct exposure to genuine business projects
and involvement in the daily work within different areas.
Job profile: Commercial employees work using
the company’s computer system to manage data, create and
edit texts, correspond with customers or suppliers and support
their team.
Potential commercial jobs upon completion of the programme in
Sales, Export, Purchasing, Personnel, Accounting
Technical apprenticeship: production
technician
During the 3 1/2
year programme, technical apprentices will acquire practical experience
through exposure to genuine projects and work in our state-of-the-art
automated manufacturing facility.
Job profile: Production technicians work using
technical documents. They utilise different tools and materials,
run and maintain production equipment, analyse and define work
flows and capture technical data.
Technical apprenticeship: Screen
printing technician
During the 3
year programme, technical apprentices will acquire practical experience
through exposure to genuine projects and work in our state-of-the-art
automated cleanroom area.
Job profile: Screen printing technicians work
with screen printing machines, stencils and inks. They evaluate
ink properties and relative proportions of different inks in
mixtures, they adjust screen and machine parameters to obtain the
necessary print quality and use different documents and statistics
to record and monitor results.
